Dorian O'Dare is lead guitarist of local Kitchener punk band Judas and the Christ-Killers. He often made money taking part in psychological tests at the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University, whose psychology departments were increasingly intrigued with his ESP.

However, few suspect his uncanny mental abilities, which include telepathy and telekinesis. His mental powers are something of a burden for O'Dare, and he keeps a strict code of mental ethics, never prying into another's mind unless it is completely necessary.
